A Model

Tumaini is the Swahili word for hope.  The Hope Center for Infectious diseases has been a model of an effective AIDS treatment clinic in Nairobi, Kenya since 2003.  Slum Doctor Programme provided the seed money for the Hope Center, now the largest comprehensive AIDS clinic in Kenya.  The clinic receives 6000 patients every year and 250 new patients every month.
