Learn the facts about HIV/AIDS, poverty, and gender inequality in Africa and around the world, then tell a friend about it.  Knowledge is power, help us spread the word about the work SDP is doing and the work being done by our partners in Africa.

Slum Doctor Program is always looking to recuit passionate volunteers to help with our efforts.  We need volunteers to help plan and staff such events such as our annual Ethiopian Dinner, do website design for our partners in Africa, and educate the local community through our Global AIDS Education Project.

Now you can help SDP from the comfort of your own home, and have some fun too! In June 2011 we will be launching the HOPE Beads Benefit Party Project! When you order the Benefit Party Package we will send you; an assortment of jewlery made by the women of BSLA, a dvd with footage of the crafters themselves and personal interviews, receipts slips, and literature from Slum Doctor Program and our partners.  All you have to do is gather your friends and family and help tell the stories of these amazing women.  Procedes go directly to the women and partner organizations, and to our outreach work here in Washington.  Find out more.
