Busoga Shining Light Association and the HOPE group have created their own website to tell their story.  They struggle to maintain their site with newly evolving IT knowledge and sometimes sporadic access to internet and electricity.   It is these barriers that the Slum Doctor Program seeks to remedy through promoting their crafts and soliciting donations from generous individuals like you!

Wondering what you can do from home?  The biggest way you can contribute is by helping spread the word about amazing grassroots entreprenures in Africa. 

Craft and jewelry design provide employment and financial support for members of the HOPE group.  Using handmade beads rolled from recycled paper, a small group of AIDS widows have found a creative and environmentally sustainable way to provide for their families. Help these women lead self sustaining lives by telling their story for them while hosting a Party for a Purpose!
